ONLINE ENGAGEMENT POLICY
Crosswalk is a Jesus-centered community that is striving to lovewell. We strongly believe that all people are created in the image of a loving God and as such, we have a responsibility to treat each other with love and grace. In this spirit, we encourage and welcome everyone to share comments, critiques, questions, suggestions, testimonials, ideas and beliefs.
In order to facilitate a respectful and loving environment for our incredibly diverse congregation, we require all users to treat each other kindly and compassionately. We ask you to stay on topic, respect other people’s opinions, and to avoid profanity, offensive statements, illegal content, or anything else that might otherwise violate Crosswalk’s standards. Users may, of course, disagree with any content or idea, and we encourage you to express your thoughts; however, comments or posts that are construed as insults, threats, harassment of other users, organizations, or employees are strictly prohibited and may be removed without notice.
Crosswalk reserves the right to temporarily dismiss or permanently ban any user from participating in the online conversation without prior written notice or consent for violations of these community guidelines. Furthermore, any comment(s) posted which we deem to be criminal in nature, or instigates or implies violence towards oneself or another may be reported to the proper authorities.
Because we are a Christian church operating within the umbrella of the Seventh-Day Adventist denomination, there are certain topics that we will not be able or willing to engage in this public forum. As these topics arise, moderators and staff will guide you to the appropriate methods to address your concerns. Failure to cooperate with any given instructions may result in immediate dismissal or permanent removal from this online experience.
Crosswalk is excited that you have chosen to be a part of this online community. Be safe, have fun, and of course, LOVEWELL!
