OPEN MIC

Open Mic is led by licensed therapist Ritchie Pruehs and meets Saturday mornings at 11am.
This workshop is a safe space for you to bring any question you might have about life, God, faith, suffering, the Bible, the faith experience of your childhood, doubt, loss of faith, etc. No question is off-limits, and every question will be explored in an atmosphere of curiosity, openness, freedom, dignity, and respect. Your questions will determine the topics we will explore.
Goals for Open Mic:
- To provide a safe space in which we can explore the issues we care about
- To encourage each of us to continue the journey of learning
- To provide & promote a sense of belonging by listening well to each other’s stories
Goals for Participants:
- That you feel genuinely valued, respected and cared about
- That you have an opportunity to share your journey
- That you become inspired to explore your long-held beliefs and paradigms
- That along the way, you find growth and healing
Theoretical Foundation for Open Mic:
- It’s not our job to save you (Jesus already did that); it’s our job to love you
- You are not saved by a magic formula; you are saved by saying yes to love
- So we have no need for a hidden agenda
