These terms cover text messages (SMS, MMS, and RCS) sent by Crosswalk Portland, a congregation of the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. By opting in to receive our messages you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy at crosswalkvillage.com/pdx-privacy-policy.
Who is messaging you
Crosswalk Portland sends messages from (855) 799-9503. Messages may appear as "Crosswalk Portland" or "CRSWLK PDX." We send them ourselves using our church software; Twilio delivers them on our behalf.
What we send
We send only messages you have asked for:
How you opt in
Message frequency and cost
Announcements list: about 2 to 4 messages per month. Kids class and café messages are sent only when there is something to tell you about. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Crosswalk Portland does not charge for messages.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one final message confirming you have been removed. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT also work. To rejoin, text LOVEWELL (or START) again. You can also ask any staff member or email cwpdx@crosswalkvillage.com.

Replies and acceptable use
Kids class messages are two-way so parents can reach us quickly. Please keep replies related to the class or your child. Do not use replies for emergencies; call 911 in an emergency.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older, or the parent or guardian of a child in our kids program, to opt in. Messages about a child are sent only to the parent or guardian who registered them.
Carriers and delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives.
Privacy
Your mobile number and consent are used only to send you the messages described here. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy at crosswalkvillage.com/pdx-privacy-policy for details.
Changes
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to receive messages after a change means you accept the updated terms.

What we send
We send only messages you have asked for:
- Church announcements and event reminders for people who joined our announcements list.
- Kids class messages for parents and guardians of children checked in to a Sabbath School class that weekend, such as pickup reminders and class updates. Parents can reply, and a staff member or volunteer will answer.
- Café order notifications telling you an order you placed at our café kiosk is ready for pickup.
How you opt in
- Announcements list: text LOVEWELL to (855) 799-9503. You will receive a welcome message confirming you are subscribed.
- Kids class messages: provide a mobile number when registering or checking in a child at our kids check-in kiosk.
- Café notifications: enter a mobile number at our café order kiosk and tap "YES, TEXT ME." A "No thanks" option is always available, and you can still order without it.
